The Shutt Detachment Golf Tournament
Tee's off June 20, 2008
2007 was a great turn out for the Pvt Charles J Shutt's golf tournament. The Marines of the Shutt detachment want to thank all that participated to make the tournament a fantastic success for both the players and sponsors.
2008's Golf tournament is now set and pre-registration is now being taken for this upcoming year's event being planned for June 20, 2008.
Play will be at the Newton-Commonwealth Golf Course again, with carts being
supplied for the players. It will be a scramble with additional play rules
being announced at sign in at the course. Players will receive gifts from
the golf committee before tee off and Sponsors will be receiving additional
items of appreciation from the Shutt Detachment following the completion
of play.
The golf feast will happen again back at the Shutt once play is completed.
Awards will be announced during the meal. The fun filled drawing from the
gift table will happen at this time too. If you skipped last year, you've
already heard how much fun it was for all on hand, and we expect more this
year!

at 215 Mt Auburn St., Watertown, MA and sign up at the Bar and leave your
entry fee. You can call the Golf Committee Chair, Dom Ricci to get on the
docket.
